WAKING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER
JOB
SUMMARY
To
follow the Manager’s directions given to ensure that each service
user receives care appropriate to his or her needs.
To attend all activities relating to the support and development of
each service users independent skills so that they may reach their
full potential.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
You need to remain awake throughout the night, supporting the
clients, monitor seizures and carrying out general cleaning duties.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to ensure that services users are cared for, at all times,
with respect, dignity and in a way that enables and promotes their
independence as individuals.

Ability to deal with different situations professionally

Experience preferable, but not essential
You
will be fully trained to meet the service users’ specialist needs
and work towards NVQ qualifications.
