SUPPORT LEADER

JOB SUMMARY

To work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the efficient and effective service provision within the service user’s home.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  •  Supervisory experience
  • Ability to plan and organise shifts so that they run smoothly and efficiently
  • Ability to ensure that services users are cared for, at all times, with respect, dignity and in a way that enables and promotes their independence as individuals.
  • Experience working closely with Managers to ensure a positive working environment by the development of a managerial style and culture that provides for an efficient, motivated and competent work force that optimises the quality of care and support.
  • Involvement in the investigation of complaints and matters of ill treatment to service users.
  • Assessment of service users plans to ensure they are up to date and in line with individual needs.
  • Confident
  • Ability to deal with different situations professionally

 You will need to support the development of each service users independence skills so that they may reach their full potential.
