SafetyThe safety of each of our service users is totally paramount. This doesn't mean we wrap people up in cotton wool. We support people to achieve what they can in life. We challenge people to achieve more. But to achieve it safely. Some of our service users find it really difficult to manage epilepsy. They endure frequent seizures, and can react to them in many different ways, both physically and emotionally. Our staff are trained comprehensively to ensure they can manage seizures reliably and efficiently. Seizure charts are kept so we can try to establish if particular moods, behaviours or circumstances might trigger seizures. |

We've invested in the latest monitoring equipment to ensure that
nocturnal seizures are observed and managed safely. We also use monitors
during the day to allow people their privacy and independence. |
