July 2011As the day progresses, a small army of therapists begin their work with a number of service users. Some will be in group sessions. Others are on a one to one basis. Therapies are often misunderstood. They’re viewed as a luxury by some but for many of our service users they’re a must have.
The satisfaction of a good day’s work
July 2011Many of our service users are desperately keen to work. For some that means they’ll need to consider voluntary work before applying for paid employment. For others, it involves understanding the demands of holding down a regular job, and the commitment that requires. Independence Homes works with service users in a number of ways to prepare them for the workplace and has helped people to secure genuine, meaningful employment.
