Learning & Development

Independence Homes provides a thorough induction programme to all new employees. Your development commences from day one when you start your intensive induction training. During this time you will receive in-depth epilepsy and medication training from our specialist epilepsy nurses.

The two week induction will provide you with the skills and practical knowledge needed to support our service users. 

Ongoing learning and development at Independence Homes is a high priority. Once initial training is complete staff are encouraged to continue with their personal development. Training will include completing their Diplomas in Health and Social Care and specialist training. This commitment means that service users are supported by a knowledgeable and confident team of staff.
