Service user success stories

All of our service users are encouraged and supported to access training, development or education courses relevant to their interests and abilities. At one of our services ‘Brambledown’ all of the service users at have attended educational courses of their choice and have greatly benefitted  from the social aspect of college life. Some spend the day at college and have developed confidence mixing with other students throughout the day.

Courses, wherever possible, were attended individually so although some of the courses were attended by more than one service users they attended different sessions to get the most from their college experience and mix with peers outside of their living environment.

Carlo, Angela and Juanita have all experienced the benefits of attending evening classes.

Self Advocacy: Angela, Carlo, Curt

Andrew, Angela, Carlo, Curt, Darren Juanita and Junior have all been successful in attending interviews for courses for Sept 2011 – July 2012.
