Complimentary Therapy
Complementary therapy focuses on
the whole person, with lifestyle, environment, diet and mental,
emotional and spiritual health often being considered alongside
physical symptoms.
There is a range of treatments, including homeopathy, naturopathy
and massage. Naturopathy, for example, is based on the idea that the
body has the power to heal itself if given clean air and water, the
right food and exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. Naturopathic
treatments aim to restore the body to its natural state of balance.
Homeopathy is a non-toxic system of medicine used to treat illness
and relieve discomfort of a wide variety of health conditions.
As with all therapies, complementary therapies are always developed
in conjunction with an intense examination of the individual's
medical history, current medication regime, and the individual's
physical, mental and emotional health.
